    The UEC BMX European Cup 2025 in Verona delivered unforgettable emotions in every race, both in the Championship categories (Junior, U23, Elite) and in the Challenge competitions. Round 1 on Saturday was marked by unexpected rain, which made the races even more thrilling. On Sunday, the sun illuminated the riders’ performances, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the spectacle up to the semi-finals of the Challenge categories. The daylight saving time change, which occurred overnight, allowed for maximum use of daylight, adding a special touch to the event. Back to Menu<\/a><\/p>\n

    2.<\/span> Exceptional performances and surprising results<\/h5>\n

    The races were characterized by exceptional performances and surprising results. In the Girls 15\/16 category, the French athlete L\u00e9onie Burgel dominated both days, demonstrating undisputed superiority. In the Boys 15\/16, the Italian Marco Del Tongo and the Belgian Elias Hellebooge alternated at the top, delivering thrilling duels. The Junior categories saw triumphs from Freia Challis (GBR) and Mark L\u016bthi (SUI), winners on both days. In the Women U23, the Italian Francesca Cingolani took victory on Saturday, while on Sunday it was the Dutch athlete Lissi Van Schijndel who climbed to the top step of the podium. The Men U23 category saw an alternation between the Dutch teammates Julian Bijsterbosch and Casper Pipers. In the Elite Women category, the European Champion Zoe Claessens (SUI) and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Champion Bethany Shriever (GBR) battled it out, with alternating results. The Men Elite category saw the triumph of Ross Cullan (GBR) on Saturday and Leo Garoyan (FRA) on Sunday, with the Italian Martii Sciortino securing a well-deserved third place in Round 2.     BMX Racing is a sport that tests the limits of athletes, and even those who didn’t make it to the final have a story to tell. Among the many, the story of Tim\u00e9o Moret (SUI), a Swiss rider in the Men Junior category, stands out. He suffered a bad fall on the first straight during the 1\/8 Finals on Sunday. Fortunately, thanks to the prompt intervention of the medical team, his condition improved during the afternoon. This episode reminds us of the danger of this sport, but also of the strength and determination of its protagonists. Back to Menu<\/a><\/p>\n

    4.<\/span> Atmosphere and audience: a wave of emotions<\/h5>\n

    The AGSM AIM BMX Olympic Arena Verona was transformed into a veritable temple of adrenaline, with stands packed with enthusiasts ready to support their favorites. The atmosphere was that of major events, vibrant and full of energy, with a public that was not discouraged even by the rain on Saturday. Indeed, the rain added a touch of epicness to the races, making the riders’ performances even more spectacular. The audience reacted enthusiastically to every phase of the competition, accompanying the athletes’ evolutions with thunderous applause and ovations. Every jump, every turn, every overtake was greeted with a roar of approval, creating a wave of emotions that swept through the entire arena. The energy of the crowd infected the athletes, pushing them to give their best and to exceed their limits. It was a real exchange of emotions, an unforgettable experience for all those present.     5.<\/span> Technical and organizational details: a proven success<\/h5>\n

    The organization of the UEC BMX European Cup 2025 in Verona was impeccable, the result of the Team BMX Verona’s many years of experience in organizing events of this caliber. Every detail was taken care of with the utmost precision, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for athletes, spectators, and staff. The management of multilingual communication was another strength of the event. The presence of two speakers, myself for Italian and French, and Neil Stewart for English, ensured clear and engaging communication for the international audience. The collaboration between the two speakers was fundamental in ensuring complete and professional coverage of the event, allowing everyone present to follow the races and fully experience the thrill of BMX Racing.     6.<\/span> The role of the speaker: a fulfilling challenge<\/h5>\n

    The UEC BMX European Cup 2025 in Verona was a marathon of emotions, which began on Friday with the official practice sessions and continued throughout the weekend with the races and award ceremonies. Three intense days, which tested my endurance and professionalism. However, the fatigue was amply rewarded by the satisfactions. I had the honor of sharing this experience with two great professionals: Neil Stewart, a renowned English speaker, and Max DJ Nikolaj, a famous international DJ and producer. Together, we created a unique atmosphere, engaging the audience and celebrating the athletes’ performances. In particular, it was exciting to witness the launch of the official theme song of the UEC BMX European Cup 2025, produced by Max DJ Nikolaj, right at the Verona stage.<\/p>\n

    Managing communication with the international audience was one of the main challenges. On Friday, I independently managed the free practice sessions, alternating announcements in Italian, English, and French. In the following days, the collaboration with Neil Stewart was fundamental. He took care of the announcements in English, while I alternated Italian and French, giving priority to Italian during the races and using the other languages for key moments.<\/p>\n

    Despite the intensity of the event, there were no moments of improvisation or sudden adaptation. The synergy between me, Neil, and Max, the result of years of experience and a strong desire to have fun, allowed us to manage every situation with professionalism and naturalness. It was an impeccable team effort, which contributed to the success of the event. Back to Menu<\/a><\/p>\n

    A special thanks goes to Team BMX Verona for the impeccable organization of the event, to all the athletes for their extraordinary performances, to the audience for their warmth and enthusiasm, and to the sponsors for their support.
