1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the rental of audio and lighting equipment with an operator provided by mauro.rent (hereinafter referred to as “mauro.rent”), a website of Pubblicità Digitale PK by Mauro Panzarola, to the Customer (hereinafter referred to as “Customer”). Renting audio and lighting equipment implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. Back to Menu
2. Definitions
2.1 Audio System
All audio equipment rented to the Customer, including but not limited to: speakers, microphones, mixers, subwoofers, speaker stands.
2.2 Lighting System
All lighting equipment rented to the Customer, including but not limited to: spotlights, illuminators, LED pars, ambient lights, motorized lights, and support accessories.
2.3 Technician
Technical staff provided by mauro.rent for delivery, installation, management, disassembly, and retrieval of the audio system. Back to Menu
3. Booking and confirmation
3.1
Bookings for audio and lighting systems must be made at least 48 working hours before the event date.
3.2
The booking will be considered confirmed only after receiving the Full Payment or the Non-Refundable Deposit equal to 30% of the total rental cost.
3.3
mauro.rent reserves the right to refuse bookings if equipment or technical staff availability is limited. Back to Menu
4. Payment
4.1
The Full Payment or Balance, equal to 70% of the total rental cost, must be paid within 48 working hours before the event date.
4.2
At the time of Full Payment or Balance, a Security Deposit equal to 50% of the total rental cost must also be paid.
4.3
The Security Deposit must be paid no later than 48 working hours before the event date and will be refunded to the Customer within 5 working days after the rental period ends, subject to verification of the equipment’s condition.
4.4
In case of damage to the equipment or missing parts, the cost of repairs or replacements will be deducted from the Security Deposit. Any additional costs will be invoiced separately to the Customer.
4.5
Accepted payment methods:
- Bank transfer;
- Credit or debit card;
- Cash payment only for rentals up to € 250.00.
4.6
In case of non-payment within the established deadlines, mauro.rent reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the Deposit. Back to Menu
5. Delivery, installation, disassembly, and collection
5.1
The delivery and installation of the audio and/or lighting system will be carried out exclusively by mauro.rent’s operator.
5.2
The Customer must guarantee access to the location to the mauro.rent operator at least 03 hours before the start of the event to allow delivery and installation and up to 01 hour after the end of the event to allow disassembly and collection. Back to Menu
6. Use of equipment
6.1
The Customer is responsible for all audio and lighting equipment during the rental period, ensuring its proper use and compliance with safety regulations.
6.2
The equipment must be used exclusively for the purpose declared at the time of booking and in accordance with the instructions provided by mauro.rent’s operator.
6.3
It is prohibited to modify, move, or tamper with the equipment without mauro.rent’s operator’s authorization. It is also forbidden to transfer the rented equipment to third parties.
6.4
The Customer must restrict access to the area where the rented equipment is placed exclusively to the service personnel indicated at the time of rental. Back to Menu
7. Technical assistance
7.1
The mauro.rent operator will be present throughout the event to ensure the proper functioning of the audio and lighting system and provide technical assistance.
7.2
In case of technical problems, the mauro.rent operator will attempt to resolve them immediately. However, mauro.rent will not be responsible for any delays or service interruptions not attributable to its own negligence. Back to Menu
8. Liability
8.1
mauro.rent is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of audio and lighting equipment caused by negligence, misuse, or intentional acts by the Customer, event participants, or third parties.
8.2
The Customer is required to compensate PDPK for any damage to the equipment and for repair or replacement costs.
8.3
mauro.rent will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the rented equipment to property or persons. Back to Menu
9. Insurance
9.1
The Customer is required to take out adequate insurance to cover any damage, loss, or theft of audio and lighting equipment during the rental period.
9.2
Upon request, the Customer must provide PDPK with a copy of the insurance policy before the start of the rental. Back to Menu
10. Cancellation and changes
10.1
In case of cancellation by the Customer within 48 hours of the event date, a penalty equal to 30% of the total cost of the audio and lighting rental will be charged.
10.2
Changes to the booking (e.g., change of date, time, or location of the event) can only be made with prior written agreement with mauro.rent and may incur additional costs.
10.3
mauro.rent reserves the right to cancel the booking in case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure events) and will fully reimburse the Customer for any payments made. Back to Menu
11. Rental guarantees
11.1
mauro.rent guarantees that all rented audio and lighting equipment will be in good working condition at the time of delivery.
11.2
In case of equipment malfunction not attributable to negligence or misuse by the Customer, mauro.rent undertakes to replace or repair the equipment as soon as possible.
11.3
PDPK will not be responsible for service interruptions caused by external factors beyond its control (e.g., power outages, adverse weather conditions). Back to Menu
12. Force majeure
12.1
mauro.rent will not be responsible for failure or delays in fulfilling its obligations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, strikes, wars, terrorist acts, interruptions in energy supplies, pandemics, or other circumstances beyond mauro.rent’s control. 13. Dispute resolution
13.1
In case of disputes related to the rental contract, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution through direct negotiation.
13.2
In the absence of an agreement, the dispute will be devolved to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Perugia, with the application of Italian law. Back to Menu
14. Final provisions
14.1
Any changes to these terms and conditions must be agreed in writing and signed by both parties.
14.2
The rental contract is governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Italian State.
14.3
If any provision of these terms and conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain fully valid and effective. Back to Menu
