Technical Workflow: Wedding Jo & Alfie, Castello di Rosciano, May, 20th & 21st 2026

This Wedding represents the excellence of International collaboration. In January 2026, the talented Matthew Lambert (Lambo Sax) chose mauro.rent as his official Audio Partner to support his Performances, alongside a Singer and a Dj set. Our mission is to ensure that the fusion of Live Music, Vocals, and Dj Sets is Acoustically flawless.

The Event will take place in the Prestigious setting of Castello di Rosciano, a Venue that demands surgical technical management. With a two-day Program ranging from the solemn Ceremony to the final Pool Party, our goal is “Zero-Stress”: an invisible yet powerful Audio direction, capable of adapting to every change in atmosphere without interruption.

1. Site Inspection: Precision in the Field

This will be my first operational experience at Castello di Rosciano. Although Lambo Sax feedback indicates that Outdoor activities will be concentrated in a single area, the first hour of Day 1 (09:00 am – 10:00 am) will be dedicated to a thorough technical Site survey to map the Acoustic coverage.

Key Findings:

  • Logistics Check: Following the Floor Plans, To be confirmed in which Area of Castello di Rosciano the Events will take a place: the “Cortile (7)” or “Garden (10)” can effectively host the Ceremony, Dinner, and Dance Floor without requiring massive PA relocations.
  • Power Supply: Identify dedicated power lines to prevent ground loops during Lambo Sax’s Performances.
  • Acoustic Mapping: Evaluate the reverb from the Castle Walls to optimize the placement of the four-Speaker Outdoor array (2 x RCF Art 912-A + 2 x RCF Art 915-A). The RCF Subwoofers will be reserved exclusively for the Indoor session to maximize the “Club-feel” and impact for the Final Party.

 

2. The Technical Workflow: A Two-Day Sonic Journey

The heart of the Event. Management of three key moments within the same Outdoor Area, with a transition to the Indoor Hall at 11:30 pm.

 

2.1 Wednesday, May 20th 2026: Wedding Day

09:00 am – 10:00 am: Site Inspection & Logistics. On-site spatial analysis. If the layout allows for a unified Setup (Plan A), we will proceed with a centralized installation. However, if the designated area is too extensive for a Single PA System, we will proceed with installing a dedicated PA System for each specific Stage of the Event (Plan B). Mauro.

10:00 am – 12:30 pm: Plan A: PA System for Unified Setup and Sound Check of the Main Sound System for Outdoor Event: Ceremony ⚪️, Speeches 🔵, Vocal, Dj and Sax Main Set 🟢. Mauro.

Focus: Ceremony, Speeches, Vocal, Dj and Sax Main Set.

  • Mic Strategy: Activation of Shure BLX288 for the Singer and Celebrant at the Ceremony ⚪️ and the Shure BLX188 / PGA98H for Lambo Sax at the Outdoor Dance Floor 🟢.
  • Dj Integration: Ready to interface the Guest Dj’s Controller into the RCF Main Mixing Console.
  • PA Design: 2 x RCF Art 915-A as Main Front PA + 2 x RCF Art 912-A as Wide-Fill for Ceremony, Dinner & Dance Floor coverage.

10:00 am – 11:00 am: Plan B: Dedicated PA System for each specific Stage of the Event. Setup and Sound Check of the Ceremony ⚪️ Sound System at the “Garden (10)” Zone. Mauro.

11:00 am – 12:30 pm: Plan B: Dedicated PA System for each specific Stage of the Event. Setup and Sound Check of the Dinner 🔵 / Outdoor Dance Floor 🟢 Sound System at the “Cortile (7)” Zone. Mauro.

For the Lighting fixtures to be installed, please refer to the Equipment List provided above.

12.30 pm – 2:00 pm: Setup and Sound Check of the Sound System for Indoor Dj Set and Dance Floor 🟢. Mauro.

Focus: 11:30 pm Dance Floor Transition.

Pre-installation & Pre-routing:

  • Pre-installation: 2 x RCF Sub 705-AS MK3 and 2 x RCF Art 912-A pre-staged in the Indoor Hall.
  • FOH Control: RCF F 10XR Mixing Console.
  • Dj Interface: Dedicated RCA-to-Jack (Balanced) cables pre-connected to the Mixer to accommodate the Pioneer DDJ-FLX4 unbalanced Outputs, ensuring maximum headroom and signal stability.

Transition Strategy (Option B – Lambo Sax Choice):

  • The “Bridge”: At 11:30 pm, mauro.rent iPad/Secondary source will be active on the Indoor Mixer to Play a curated transition tracks (Playlist to be confirmed), ensuring a seamless atmosphere while the Guest Dj connects his Dj Controller and Laptop.
  • Note on Sax: Following Lambo Sax’s preference, the Shure BLX188 B Wireless receiver for the Sax will be moved with the Rack [#1 ⚪️ 🔵] from Outdoor to Indoor immediately the end of the Outdoor Party 11:30 pm.

02:30 pm: Welcome Drink.

03:30 pm: Ceremony ⚪️. Shure Wireless Microphones PG58 M17 are provided for Celebrant and Singer, Vocals: Can’t Help Falling in Love to the track. Microphones will be placed on Stands.

04:00 pm: Aperitif and Antipasti Buffet.

05:30 pm: If Plan B is applied, De-rigging of the Sound System for the Ceremony ⚪️ and Setup of the Dinner 🔵 / Outdoor Dance Floor 🟢 Sound System (only 2 x Gravity SS 5211 B, 2 x RCF Art 912-A) at the “Cortile (7)” Zone. Mauro.

The Final Setup is:

05:30 pm: Guests seated at tables, followed by Speeches 🔵 (Approximately 30 minutes, same space as Ceremony). Shure Wireless Microphones PG58 M17 are provided for Speeches.

06:00 pm: Wedding Dinner.

08:00 pm: Bride & Groom leave for Golden Hour photos (Approximately 20 minutes).

08:30 pm: End of Wedding Dinner, Wedding cake cutting, followed by Dessert Buffet.

09:00 pm: First Dance, followed by Evening Dance Floor Outside 🟢. Vocal, Dj and Sax Main Set (Same space as Ceremony/Dinner).

11:30 pm – 01:30 am: Music moves Indoors; Indoor bar if required. New Indoor Audio Setup. Dj only.

11:30 pm: mauro.rent iPad/Secondary source will be active on the Indoor Mixer to Play a curated transition tracks (Playlist to be confirmed), ensuring a seamless atmosphere while the Guest Dj connects his Dj Controller and Laptop. The Shure BLX188 B Wireless receiver for the Sax will be moved with the Rack [#1 ⚪️ 🔵] from Outdoor to Indoor immediately the end of the Outdoor Party. Additionally, 2 x RCF Art 915-A Speakers will be relocated from the Outdoor Area to the Indoor Hall to reinforce the Dance Floor.

00:00 am – 01:30 am: De-rigging of the Unified Sound System for the Main Outdoor Event: Ceremony ⚪️, Speeches 🔵, Vocal, Dj and Sax Main Set 🟢. Mauro.

01:30 am – 04:30 am: De-rigging of the Sound System for the Indoor Dance Floor 🟢. Mauro.

 

2.2 Thursday, May 21st: The Pool Party

10:30 am – 01:30 pm: Setup and Sound Check of the Sound System for the Pool Party. Mauro.

02:00 pm – 06:00 pm: Pool Party. Dj & Sax by the Pool.

06:00 pm – 11:30 pm: BBQ. Music will be provided until the Evening.

11:30 pm – 02:30 am: De-rigging of the Sound System for the Pool Party & BBQ. Mauro.

 

3. The Technical Rider: Only the Best

To guarantee the mauro.rent quality standard, the equipment selection was focused on reliability and “Rider Compliance”:

  • Audio PA: A combination of RCF Art 912-A and 915-A Speakers for clarity and power.
  • Subwoofers: RCF Sub 705-AS MK3 to provide the deep, punchy bass required for an International Dj Set on both day.
  • Microphones: Shure BLX Dual Series & Shure PGA98H (Instrument) for Lambo Sax
  • Power: Furman Power Conditioners to protect all sensitive digital gear. Back to Menu

 

4. Playlist Management: The “Zero-Stress” Method

mauro.rent, through this International collaboration with Lambo Sax, provides Delivery, Installation, Sound Check, On-site Technical Support throughout the Event, and De-rigging. All musical content and artistic direction are curated by Lambo Sax. Back to Menu

By combining a detailed Site survey with High-End Hardware and an organized Technical Workflow, we ensure that the Couple and their Guests can focus entirely on the Celebration.
