1. San Vincenzo, discovering the territory
San Vincenzo, nestled like a gem along the splendid Etruscan Coast in Tuscany, is much more than a renowned seaside resort. This lovely town in the province of Livorno offers a fascinating mix of history, nature, and contemporary vibrancy, making it the ideal setting for a prestigious sporting event like the Toscana Cup.
Its name evokes ancient origins, likely linked to a church dedicated to Saint Vincent Martyr. Today, San Vincenzo presents itself with a modern and dynamic tourist port, an ideal starting point for exploring the Tuscan Archipelago. Its long sandy beaches, bathed by a crystal-clear sea, are perfect for relaxing after the intense matches of the tournament.
Behind the coast stretches a lush centuries-old pine forest, a green oasis ideal for rejuvenating walks and family picnics. This pine forest is part of the larger Val di Cornia Natural Park, a protected area that preserves important historical evidence and incredible biodiversity.
History enthusiasts can explore the traces of the Etruscan and Roman past present in the surrounding territory, while those looking for some activity can enjoy hiking or cycling along the numerous trails that wind through the hills and the coast. San Vincenzo is also a strategic point for easily reaching other gems of Tuscany, such as the art cities of Pisa, Florence, and Siena, or the characteristic medieval villages of the hinterland. 2. Typical products and local traditions
The proximity to the sea translates into high-quality fresh seafood cuisine. Don’t miss the chance to taste cacciucco, a flavorful and substantial fish soup, or freshly grilled fish. Along the coast, you will find numerous restaurants and trattorias offering these specialties, often accompanied by excellent local extra virgin olive oil and fine wines from the Etruscan Coast Wine Route.
The hinterland, on the other hand, offers more rustic flavors, with meat-based dishes, stewed wild boar, ribollita (a bread and vegetable soup), and the famous Florentine steak (bistecca alla fiorentina) (although the latter is more typical of other areas, the quality of Tuscan meat is undisputed).
Regarding local traditions, San Vincenzo is linked to patron saint festivals and events that celebrate the products of the land and the sea. April, the period of the Toscana Cup, might offer the opportunity to attend local fairs or markets where you can discover typical crafts and genuine local flavors. Don’t forget to try traditional sweets such as cantucci (to be dipped in Vin Santo) or schiacciata alla fiorentina (although typical of the Carnival period, you might find variations). Back to Menu

Football lovers, especially youth football enthusiasts, mark these dates: from April 19th to 21st, 2025, the picturesque town of San Vincenzo, in Tuscany, will transform into the beating heart of international football with the arrival of the Toscana Cup. This year, we will have the pleasure of hosting teams from Germany (5 teams), Switzerland (9 teams), France (13 teams), and a significant Italian representation with 47 teams. This diversity of origins represents a unique opportunity for young footballers to engage with different footballing realities, forge new friendships that transcend national borders, and fully experience the authentic and inclusive spirit of youth football.
3.2 High-level hospitality at hu Park Albatros Village
The Toscana Cup is not limited to the playing field. Participants and their families will stay at the hu Park Albatros Village, a fully equipped holiday village designed to welcome families and featuring numerous facilities specifically for younger guests. Nestled in the typical centuries-old Tuscan pine forest and a short distance from the beautiful beaches of the Val di Cornia Natural Park, the village offers an ideal environment to relax and fully enjoy the Tuscan Easter.

4. The role of the Speaker at the 2025 Toscana Cup
For me, being the Speaker at sporting events is always a unique thrill, and the opportunity to animate the 2nd Toscana Cup 2025 fills me with enthusiasm. I will be honored to play a key role in two crucial moments of the tournament: the Opening Ceremony on Saturday evening and the Awards Ceremony scheduled for Monday.
The Opening Ceremony is a fundamental moment to welcome all the teams, families, and accompanying persons. My goal will be to break the ice, create an atmosphere of enthusiasm and participation, conveying the energy and positive spirit that drive this international tournament. Through engaging activities, I will strive to unite the audience and prepare them for the excitement of the competitions.
The Awards Ceremony on Monday will instead represent the culmination of the tournament, the moment when victories, commitment, and the sportsmanship of all participants are celebrated. My task will be to lead the ceremony, present the winning teams, honor their successes, and emphasize the values of fair play and respect that are at the heart of the Toscana Cup. It will be an opportunity to recognize the talent of the young footballers and to leave a positive memory of this experience.
I am ready to put my passion and energy at the service of the 2nd Toscana Cup 2025, helping to make these moments unforgettable for everyone present. Back to Menu
